Luther’s small Catechism Luther found that people in his day did not know the very basics of the Christian faith. So He wrote the catechism so that parents could teach their children. We are examining the six chief parts of the Christian faith on Wednesday live in our discipleship group on facebook.
Family Night We will again be using Faithink amazing material called Bible Song. Where we learn God’s Word through song, pictures and sign language. How did you learn your abc’s? This is awesome program that allows the whole family to learn the scriptures together. It will be on our facebook page on wed at 5:30 pm.
Confirmation This is an opportunity to examine the faith you were baptized into. We teach confirmation in 7th and 8th grade. This year it will be in person at 4:00 pm on Wednesdays.
Finally, in Psalm 46 it says God is our refuge and our strength. Later in that same Psalm it is written, “the God Jacob is with us.” This is true now! Let Him be your strength during these unprecedented times.
p.s. Call me or text " prayer" to (218) 220-2788 at any time. We are the church 168 hours a week.
Shepherd of the Lake
We are the body of Christ at Shepherd of the Lake in Two Harbors, Mn. Because of God's love for us in Jesus we, His children, are called to love others with that same love. This can be summed up in the phase "Caring about people - Sharing about Christ." To this end we seek to show the Love God has for us through word and deed to the people of Two Harbors and the surrounding community.
At Shepherd of the Lake, our mission is gaining souls for Christ by reaching out to all people: rich and poor, young and old, by faithfully proclaiming God's Word.
Ministries
At 9:30 every Sunday we offer the love of God in forgiveness we have in Christ in a blended (contemporary and traditional) liturgical worship service. Come as you are on Sunday and receive the mercies of our God. We are now live on our Shepherd of the Lake Facebook page.

Come as you are. Just finished camping - coming off the lake - late shift at work - You are welcome as you are. It is the same way Jesus comes to us. He doesn't wait till we are all cleaned up and spiffy. He comes to us sinners as we are with the forgiveness of sins. One of my favorite titles for Jesus is "friend of sinners.
